We’re Making Headlines!
SPRING PRE EMERGE SPRAYING ON GREENS & TEES, FAIRWAYS AND ROUGHS

Spring is among us and DCC like many courses has battled the rainy season, to apply the needed pre-emerge products to help eliminate our most nuisance weeds. Thanks to McCleskey Cotton and their help with an 80ft boom sprayer, we were able to apply our pre-emerge between the heavy rains on that Monday to the entire course in record time. This allowed us to take full advantage of the rain on the following day to ensure the application was fully watered in.
I also want to take a moment to thank Austin Lawton, Superintendent, Forest Lakes Golf Club, ABAC, for assisting us in appling the needed products to our greens. He has assisted DCC for quite a while and I wanted to make sure his efforts were appreciated.Â
